The cycling in Almeria is unparalleled in terms of variety and is a very well kept secret
Ride through rustic villages in the mountains and test out the legs on the challenging climbs or spin through rolling unspoilt countryside of olive, almond and orange groves or valleys doubling up as sets for western movies.
If you want a sea view, then the coastal road looking out over the Med does not disappoint.
There is a wide variety of different terrain to choose from and a choice of so many routes means you never have to ride the same road twice.
All roads are beautifully smooth, safe and very quiet and it's not uncommon to ride for a whole day seeing no other cyclists except one of the pro team peletons who are based in the area whizzing past at speed.

to the beach and the water is warm, clear and safe.
